    • St. Theresa Catholic School Annual Gala

      The Annual Gala is a major fundraiser for St. Theresa Catholic School benefiting our current and future students. With the support of parents, parishioners, and donors, funds raised from the gala and auction provide the opportunity to better improve school programs and facilities.

       Join us for a fun night of fellowship, hospitality, and giving. This year's Gala will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, 6:30 p.m-10:30 p.m. It will be an amazing evening to include cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres in the Parish Fellowship Hall, followed by dining, dancing, and philanthropy in the School Gym.

      How does the school benefit?

      The gala is our premiere fundraising event and this year’s gala proceeds will go directly to St. Theresa Catholic School. Philanthropic opportunities include project underwriting, table sponsorships, and both live and silent auctions. The contributed portion of the table or individual ticket purchases, underwriting, and/or auction item donations are tax deductible.

      What is a Gala Class Project?

      All grades (Pre-K3 thru 8th grade) will create a class project using their creativity with their homeroom teacher and room parents. Each class project will be showcased in the silent auction. Parents and donors can start biding two weeks prior to the gala. Class projects will be on display the night of the gala. 

      How can I place a bid on Silent Auction & Class Projects? 

      Starting two weeks before the evening of Feb 21 you can  browse and bid on the many Silent Auction items and Class Projects via BidPal mobile bidding.

      The Gala will feature a Kendra Scott Jewelry Pull, Live and Silent Auction, Paddles-Up giving, and Big Board to feature great vacations and special experiences, and more.

      How can I volunteer or join the Gala Committee?

      What should I wear? 

      Dress in theme! Put on your poodle skirt and saddle shoes to be festive for this fun event. 

      How can I make sure I am seated with my friends at dinner? 

      You can buy a table together, or you can send a seating request to auction@sttheresa.cc and the committee will do their best to accommodate the request. 

      Are donations tax deductible? 

      STCS is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible. Upon submission of your donation, you will receive a tax receipt. If you need additional information about the 501(c)(3) status, please email auction@sttheresa.cc.

      Is there a minimum donation required? 

      No! All donations are greatly appreciated.

      How can I contribute? 

      There are several ways that you can contribute to the event. Donate an item to the auction, sponsor the event by contributing financially, or purchase tickets.

      What percentage goes to the school? 

      The gala and auction is our largest fundraiser each year and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the school to help pay for building improvements, special educational programming and other overhead costs. 

      I want to donate to the auction, but I don't know what to. 

      If you need help brainstorming ways that you can donate to our live or silent auction, please reach out to the committee ​and email auction@sttheresa.cc! Our team of volunteers will be happy to help generate ideas.
